Texas Chicken – great and inexpensive fast food in Thailand

In Thailand, there are brands of popular international fast food chains (junk food), for example:

• McDonald's – very expensive and very small portions
• KFC is good, but not enough to go there often
• Subway – in this place I met my first wife, I have never been there again
• Pizza Hut – very small pizzas, and I don't like them very much
• Domino's Pizza – I like it, but not enough to eat their pizzas regularly. That is, simply better than other fast foods that I don’t like at all
• The Pizza Company – I haven't been there, but ones say it's delicious

In short, fast food in Thailand is not very popular – there is too much competition from big and small restaurants, food fairs, street food vendors, 7-Eleven ready meals and other places where you can eat.

Fast food loses by the main criterion – it is expensive in Thailand. Here McDonald's is rather a respectable restaurant where it is not a shame to invite a girl to be there almost alone.

In general, I don't like fast food in other countries, and in particular I don't like fast food in Thailand.

Texas Chicken is the best fast food in Thailand

As you can see, I am not a big fan of fast food and junk food, but to my own amazement, I liked the food from Texas Chicken and I can highly recommend this place.

As the name suggests, this place makes chicken food. In addition to the usual chicken, they also make something like kebab or burrito here – that is, chopped chicken, along with vegetables, is placed in pita bread or something similar (lebanese bread / flatbreads / pita bread). There are also french fries, mashed potatoes (delicious!) and a selection of drinks. Oh yes, there are also burgers, but I still haven't tried them.

You can order different parts of the chicken (breast, wings, legs, etc.). Basically, the chicken is fried until crispy. Overall, the chicken is pretty spicy! Even without the sauces (which aren't particularly spicy, by the way), the chicken is quite spicy, so be prepared for that.

Texas Chicken has delivery, and my wife introduced me to this restaurant when ordering home delivery. By the way, the drink is delivered directly in a glass, which is packed with a transparent film.

For example, in the photo of “Super Star Combo”, it cost 284 baht. An additional order “Trade-up BIC to Lobs” is giving the chicken a lobster flavor.

This chicken was also included in the order, but they brought it to us a little later.

One order was enough for me and my wife to be full.

In the receipt you will find the password for connecting to Wi-Fi.

Replenishment of drinks without limitation

I didn’t know this when my wife ordered Texas Chicken home, but the restaurant found out that drinks are included in the price of the order, and this is a “refill”, that is, you can refill your glass as many times as you need.

There is also an ice machine.

Review of Texas Chicken

I liked the food at Texas Chicken. Delicious. The price is reasonable. Two adult people can become full if they order a combo.

Drinks are refillable, and you don't have to choose just one – you can pour different drinks each time. Replenishment of the glass is carried out independently – I really like it.

In general, I recommend Texas Chicken.
