Email Fraud in Thailand
We all often order something online and receive our packages. We are waiting for the delivery of the previous order, and we are already choosing and buying new products.
Orders usually arrive on time, but what if we've been notified of a sudden problem preventing our package from being delivered to us?

The amount of the fee seems small, only 36.14 ฿. The letter contains links to a page with the emblem of the ThailandPost and fields for entering bank card details to pay the fee. But please, do not rush to enter any data – if you enter information about your bank card, then all the money will be stolen from it!
This email is a scam. Fraudsters want to get information about your bank card and steal all the money from it.
How to identify a fraudulent email?
It is likely that scammers will again try to deceive users. To protect yourself from scammers, never rush to transfer money and enter your bank card details.
1. Read the letter carefully. In Thai, the letter contains errors and signs of using an automatic translator. That is, the letter was written by a person who does not know the Thai language.
2. The link in the email leads to the strange address defiantquagga.build067.wpsandbox.app. This address has absolutely nothing to do with Thailand Post.
3. There are no identifiers in the letter and on the payment page that allow you to distinguish your payment from the payment of another person. This should alert you: why the payee does not worry about the identification of the payer.
4. You just don't need to pay taxes on parcels from overseas. You will find all the necessary information on the page of the online shop where you buy goods.
So
Never rush to enter your bank card details, no matter under what pretext they are lured from you.
If you are in doubt, it is better to postpone any payment actions and try to understand the situation more deeply.
