How to get to Si Racha from Pattaya by public transport

Si Racha is a small town north of Pattaya (toward Bangkok). Si Racha is interesting primarily for the island of Ko Sichang, which is located nearby and can be reached by a cheap ferry.

There are several ways to get to Si Racha from Pattaya, including public transport.

How to get to Si Racha by tuk tuk

There is a white songthaew to Si Racha, don't confuse it with the songthaew to Sattahip, which is also white. On the map, its parking place is marked as “White tuk-tuk to Si Racha”.

Tuk-tuks to Si Racha depart from North Pattaya near Lan Pho Na Kluea Market, that is, the Na Kluea seafood market.

Fare: 20 baht.

If you are moving from Sukhumvit, you don't have to go to the Seafood Market, next to the Sukhumvit road, tuk-tuks in Si Racha stop and wait for passengers. This stopping point is marked “White tuk-tuk to Si Racha #2”.

The final stop of this tuk-tuk is a place near Muang Si Racha Food Market (Si Racha City Market).

To get to the tuk-tuk stop at Na Kluea, you can use the dark blue tuk-tuks that run around Pattaya. You may need to do one or two bus-to-bus transfers. For details, see the article “Pattaya public transport and tuk-tuk route map”.

If you are close to Sukhumvit Road, you can take the white tuk tuk that returns from Sattahip to Na Kluea and then transfer to the tuk tuk to Si Racha. Fare: 20 baht.

How to get to Si Racha by minibus (van)

Along the Sukhumvit road, in addition to white tuk-tuks, vans constantly ply in various directions.

Most popular destinations:

• Pattaya – Bangkok
• Sattahip – Chon Buri District

You can take them at the stops marked in purple on the map below.

Please note that the bus route Sattahip – Chonburi necessarily passes through Si Racha and therefore you can take it without fear of going in the wrong direction.

As for the buses of the Pattaya – Bangkok route, some of them also pass through Si Racha, and some follow a different route past Si Racha and without stops. Therefore, before getting into a van to Bangkok, you need to check whether you can get to Si Racha on it.

The fare in a van will be higher than in a tuk-tuk. On the other hand, comfort in a van is also higher.
