How to install the LINE app on your phone. Why LINE Lite doesn’t work

What is LINE

LINE is the most popular messenger in Thailand and probably in some other countries.

Nowadays, LINE has become more than a messenger, it is also a social network where users can share their photos, short videos and stories. LINE also integrates Rabbit LINE Pay (electronic payment system), news feed, food delivery, online shopping, taxi ordering, games and many other online and offline services.

To install LINE on your phone, open the Play Store and try to find this application. If it is present, then try installing it as a regular application. If it worked out, then congratulations – but, unfortunately, usually everything is not so simple.

The first thing you may encounter is that the LINE app is not found on the phone. You can try to open the web version of the Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.naver.line.android and install the app from there – select the device (phone) you want receive LINE.

Error: LINE is not compatible with your phone version

When you try to install LINE, you may encounter an error that this application is not compatible with your phone.

Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to solve this problem.

Why LINE Lite doesn't work

Unlike the main version of LINE, this program can be installed on any phone.

But this program has a problem – it does not work. None of its functions, starting with the entrance to the application, do not work. I don't know how to fix this.

So how do you install LINE anyway?

All the problems with installing LINE were solved by changing the region in the Play Store to Thailand: the LINE app appeared in the Android app store, installed without errors and starts without problems.
